Demand for the limited-run Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition continues to surprise the market. When Mahindra & Mahindra reopened bookings for a new batch of the electric SUV in March 2026, consumers rushed to secure a slot almost instantly. The company made 999 units available and the entire allocation was booked in only seven minutes.
The booking window for the second batch opened on March 10, 2026 at 11 AM and remained active for just a single day. Ahead of the launch, prospective customers had already been able to register their interest through the company’s website starting March 6. The limited edition model carried an ex-showroom price of Rs. 28.49 lakh and the short booking duration combined with the small production run ensured that the available units disappeared quickly.
The special version of the BE 6 was created through a collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, drawing visual inspiration from The Dark Knight Trilogy. The result is a darker and more dramatic interpretation of the electric SUV’s styling with several cosmetic changes designed to show the theme of the iconic comic-book hero. The model is based on the fully loaded Pack Three variant and retains the same 79 kWh battery pack.
The Batman Edition gets a satin black paintwork coupled with contrasting gold highlights. Components such as the suspension elements and brake calipers are finished in Alchemy Gold while the SUV rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. Unique touches including Batman graphics on the doors, special edition badges and themed exterior detailing further distinguish the vehicle from the regular production model.
The superhero theme continues inside the cabin with a range of customised elements. The Bat emblem appears on the seats and several control surfaces while a subtle graphic on the passenger side of the dashboard incorporates the same motif. The infotainment system features a dedicated start-up animation created for this edition and the external sound profile has also been tweaked to give the vehicle a more theatrical character.
